'Royal Hunt'는
1989년 덴마크에서
André Andersen(G/K)에 의해 결성된
5인조 프로그레시브 메탈 밴드입니다.
안드레 앤더슨은
클래식 락의 기본 가치와
진보적이고 현대적인 음악적 요소를
결합한 음악을 추구하기 위해
밴드를 결성했다고 합니다.
그래서 로얄 헌트는
진보적이고 교향악적인 감각으로
멜로디 음악을 만드는 것으로 유명하며,
그들은 주로 일본과 유럽에서
그들의 클래식 앨범들을 선보입니다.
이들은 특히 보컬이 자주 교체되곤 했는데,
John West, Mark Boals, DC Cooper 등이
탈퇴와 재영입을 반복하곤 했죠.
이 앨범은 전 트랙을
안드레 앤더슨이 작곡했으며,
보컬 존 웨스턴의
보컬 데뷔 스튜디오 앨범인데,
존 웨스턴의 보컬이
마~ 소름끼치도록 멋집니다.
